The Design and Test of the Chassis of a Triangular Crawler-Type Ratooning Rice Harvester

Due to the high rolling rate of a regular crawler paddy harvester and absence mature first season products ratooning rice, combined with planting mode harvest requirements triangular rice is specifically designed. The structure steering principle chassis are described. hydraulic system simulated analyzed by AMESim2020 (Guangzhou, China) verify rationality its design; RecurDynV9R4 used simulate analyze field straight/turning situation differential rear-axle chassis. results show that rear axle has smaller turning radius lower loss change track tension more stable during steering. test conducted reliability simulation results. shows reduced 27.9% compared machine’s operating speed 2.8 km/h, minimum 780 mm, straight 26.8%. performance stable, operational process smooth. Compared existing conventional harvester, linear 26.1%, consistent RecurDyn reliable, providing reference for theoretical research later ratoon harvester.
